Joanne Margaret (Haas) O'Brien

Joanne M. O’Brien, age 75 of the Township of Larrabee, passed away on July 7, 2021 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center, Shawano surrounded by her loving family.

Joanne Margaret O’Brien was born April 25, 1946 in Racine, WI, daughter to the late James & Jeanette (Peters) Haas. She attended school and graduated high school in the Racine area, and later married Roger R. O’Brien on April 24, 1965 also in Racine. She worked, for a time, at a book factory in Racine, but later they relocated to the Marion area and Joanne worked for the clock factory in Clintonville. She eventually stayed home full time to care for their son, Brian. Joanne loved pan-fishing, gardening, and canning vegetables from her garden. She also was a great cook and never let anyone go hungry at the dinner table. Joanne will be remembered for her adoration for her grandchildren and the selfless way she lived her life; always putting others first.

Sisters-in-law: Charlene Haas, Big Falls & Sue Haas, Beaver Dam
Many nieces & nephews

Joanne was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roger; and brothers, Henry & Ron Haas.

A memorial service will be held 11AM Monday, July 12, 2021 at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Clintonville, with Pastor Todd Bonnin officiating.

Visitation will begin at 10AM on Monday at the funeral home until the time of service.
