Jodi L. Griepentrog

Jodi L. Griepentrog, age 59 of Clintonville passed away unexpectedly at her home on Sunday June 15, 2025.

Jodi Lea Griepentrog was born on December 26, 1965 in Clintonville as the daughter of Sally (Pietz) Griepentrog and the late Roger Griepentrog. She graduated from Clintonville High School in 1984 and at the age of 16 began working with Matt Oreskovich in the kitchen at the Pine Manor Health Care Center in Embarrass, now known as The Pines. After a number of years working together at Pine Manor, Matt along with his wife Sharon, and Jodi opened Mathew’s Supper Club in Clintonville. Jodi spent the past 34 years cooking and socializing with local patrons at Mathew’s; often working over 80 hours a week. She treated many of the young wait staff like her own children and was always there with advice and support when needed. If you went to Mathew’s, Jodi was always working. Her and Matt made the best food in the area and local residents continually relied on her to provide food for many parties and gatherings over the years. If you knew Jodi then you knew at times she had the mouth of a sailor, but always had a heart of gold. She was constantly looking out for everyone else and genuinely cared for people. To say her patrons will miss her and her cooking talents is an understatement. Jodi looked forward to her beach vacation every year with her sister and enjoyed traveling to visit friends and family. This past year she was blessed with a granddaughter, Evelyn, and couldn’t have loved her more. She was so proud of her family and her love for all of them will be greatly missed. 

Survivors include: Her Mother: Sally Griepentrog.
Son & Daughter-in-law: Kyle (Cassi) Griepentrog.
Granddaughter: Evelyn Griepentrog.
Siblings: Lori Griepentrog, Cari (Tony Shaw) Griepentrog, Mike (Carrie) Griepentrog, & Jessi Griepentrog. Step-Brother Austin Gaspar.
Nieces & Nephews: A.J. Wilken, Alec Wilken, Payton, Megan, & Allison Griepentrog.
Her Step-Mother: Angie Griepentrog.
Also her Partner in Crime: Matt Oreskovich and his family.

Jodi was preceded in death by her father Roger Griepentrog and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

A Gathering to Celebrate Jodi’s Life will be held Friday June 20, 2025 from 4-7pm at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory (SOUTH LOCATION) 299 S. Main Street, Clintonville, WI 54929. Please feel free to wear casual attire as that’s what Jodi would have wanted. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established by Jodi's family. www.eberhardtstevenson.com
