John M. Wait

John M Wait, age 81 of Land O Lakes WI, formerly of Clintonville WI, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2023.

Born October 20, 1941 to Lee and Carol (Dixon) Wait.
John was a pretty lucky guy and struck gold when he won a date with Sandra Graf playing a dice game with friends. The date went well and she became the love of his life. He married Sandra on May 6, 1961 at St. Rose in Clintonville. Together they were blessed with five wonderful children whom they raised while farming the home farm. He was able to achieve his goal of retiring to Land O Lakes, WI at the age of 50. In his retirement he enjoyed woodworking in his shop where he made countless projects for family. He also enjoyed spending time fishing and feeding all his critters, especially his deer.
 
Survived by his wife Sandra, daughter, Linda Reitzner (Brad), sons, Scott (Melissa), Bob (Gladys), Rafe (Tina), Claude (JJ), along with many grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Further survived by siblings Ginger (Romy) Mauel, Dale (Sue) Wait, Sam (Vicky) Wait and Beth (Dennis) Mehlberg and sister-in-laws Joyce Keller & Barb Wait.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lee & Carol Wait, a brother Jerry Wait and by a brother-in-law Robert Keller.
