Joseph "Joe" Hamblin of Clintonville Wisconsin, passed away in his home Friday, May 9th, 2024 at 71 years old. Son of the late Wilbur and Gloria Hamblin, Joe was born February 18, 1953. He and his former wife, Pamela, were blessed with their only child, Melissa Ann, in 1971.
A Jack of all trades, Joseph enjoyed working with his hands and always liked to be busy. His varied skills and tireless work ethic led him to wear many hats throughout his life. He built and sold sheds in his spare time, fixed vehicles, was a landlord to many tenants over the years, and was a talented baker who especially enjoyed making sourdough bread and heavily-filled long john donuts. He also enjoyed fishing and taking family out on his pontoon boat on the Cloverleaf lakes.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Gloria Hamblin, and his daughter Melissa Moericke.
He is survived by his sisters: Pat (Ron) Backus, Pam Hamblin, and Penny Young; grandchildren Lacey (Jeremy) Cobb, Morgan Moericke, and Hunter Moericke; and great-grandchildren Charles and Maxwell Cobb.
His grandchildren will always remember their years with “Papa Joe” fondly, and would like to express their gratitude to those who’ve offered their prayers and condolences.
As per Joes' wishes, no formal services are scheduled at this time.
The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Clintonville is assisting his family with arrangements.
