Judith Lee Simon, age 71, of Clintonville, Wisconsin passed away on November 22, 2024 at home.
Born on September 28, 1953 to Shirley (Olson) Simon and Francis (Fritz) Simon in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Judy was a 1971 graduate of Green Bay West High School; and later attended and graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay.
Judy’s business (Up & Running Computer Service) found her repairing corporate and personal computers.
Judy was so loved by all who knew her~! With her warm smile, quick wit & ever-compassionate demeanor, she was always ready to listen, to help & to support others. She was also known to break into song any old time, a trait shared by her wife and her siblings. Judy loved the outdoors…hiking & kayaking, in particular. She enjoyed doing building projects and spending time with Kris at their getaway “treehouse” on the Embarrass River.
Judy is survived by her loving wife, Kris Doan, stepdaughter Tanya Luna and grandson, Harman Gill. She is also survived by her sisters, Lynn Nuthals (Mike), Ann Simon, Joan Scherer (Brian), and Barbara Simon (Dan Dillon) and by her brother, Mike Simon (Michele).
Nieces & nephews include Vikki VanEgeren (Eric), Wendy Adams (Mike), Tim Nuthals (Sarah), John Diamond (Wendy), Paul Diamond, Jeff Diamond (Dawn), Joshua Scherer (Joanna), Jeremiah Scherer (Christine), Leah Verdolino (Bryan), Michael Simon, Jr., Sage Simon, Cassidy Simon, Meredith Armstrong (Scott), and Grant Armstrong (Emily).
She was preceded in death by her parents and her nephew, Robert Diamond.
A memorial gathering for Judy is planned for the spring of 2025.
