Judith “Judy” A. Johnson, age 84 of Clintonville, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Rennes Health and Rehabilitation Center, Appleton.
Judith “Judy” Ann Johnson was born April 8, 1941 in Clintonville, daughter to the late Willard & Mabel (DeYoung) Wied. She graduated from Clintonville High School completing classes in business and stenography. She was hired at Kimberly Clark, Neenah working in the Industrial Marketing, Planning and Research Dept, both in the main office and as a secretary. Judy met her future husband Donald at a local restaurant. As the story goes, Judy was apprehensive to share her last name with Don at first, because earlier that night Don’s best friend was pulled over by a police officer; who just happened to be Judy’s father. Don and Judy were united in marriage at the Methodist Church on July 1, 1961. After moving back to Clintonville, Judy worked as a legal secretary for an attorney for a number of years, later working as secretary/treasurer for V. P. & J. Construction Co. and finally, Johnson Fire Equipment., Clintonville. As a member of the United Methodist Church, Judy was involved with the church choir, taught Sunday School, and served on the administrative board and as Pastor-Parish Committee Secretary. She has also been involved with many community projects over the years with the Clintonville Athletic Assoc., Red Cross, United Fund, Den Mother, and Community Choir. She was quite the bowler in her younger years, going to state with her team on many occasions. The family remembers many fun vacations with Don’s diving club; camping near the Great Lakes where the group would dive the shipwrecks; as well as vacations to Florida. Judy made it a point to donate blood whenever she could, actually winning an award for the amount of blood she provided for others. She struggled with some major health issues over the years, including a stroke, but Judy was a fighter and always found a way to overcome these challenges. She never complained and always put the needs of others before her own. Judy will be remembered for her generosity, her willingness to lend a hand or provide a kind word; and always believed that you can go farther in this world by showing love to those around you.
Judy is survived by her loving husband, Donald

Judy wished to be “home” rather than in the hospital, and we are deeply appreciative that you provided her with comfort, familiarity, and a second family while she was in your care.
