Julie Kasper Obituary

Julie Ann Kasper, age 66, passed away unexpectedly October 16 at her home in Frisco, Texas.

Julie was born April 11, 1958 in New London, Wisconsin, the daughter of Lester and Violet (nee Duerr) Kasper.  She spent her childhood in the Clintonville, Wisconsin area, graduating from Clintonville High School in 1976.  She earned her degree from UW-Madison with a Bachelor of Sciences in Apparel and Textile Design in 1981.  She spent most of her professional career working at the corporate level for retail businesses in project management, planning, allocation, and business processes including Kohl's Department Stores, JCPenney, Tuesday Morning, and Haggar Clothing.  Most recently, she was a Senior Business Systems Analyst for Signet Jewelers.

Julie was very gifted with a multitude of arts and crafts, including painting, sewing, and making jewelry.  Friends and family often received personalized, one-of-a-kind cards she made for birthdays and other celebrations.  Julie enjoyed spending time with friends and family especially at live music events and other festivals, adding energy to all gatherings.  She also enjoyed travel, most recently enjoying a long vacation in Portugal.

Julie was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Sherry Kasper-Mohrbacher.  She is survived by her brothers, Cal (Cindy) Kasper, Kean (Kate) Kasper of Mequon and Kris Kasper of Hartford.  She was an attentive aunt and survived by nephews Brandon (Jessica) Mohrbacher of Evansville, Aaron (Breena Evans) Mohrbacher of Madison, Kellen (Krysten) Kasper of Whitefish Bay, Korey (Kelly) Kasper of Tampa, Florida and nieces Kelly Kasper and Koko Kasper of Mequon.  She is further survived by eleven grand-nephews and nieces.

Inurnment at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Bear Creek is November 9.  A celebration of life will be at a later date.  The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Clintonville, is assisting the Kasper family.
