June Luebke Obituary

June S. Luebke, age 90 of Clintonville passed away Wednesday morning, April 22, 2020 at Aster Assisted Living in Clintonville.

June was born on June 15, 1929 in Clintonville as the daughter of the late Louis and Sarah (Behnke) Lichtenberg. She attended St. Martin Lutheran School and graduated from Clintonville High School in 1947. On June 16, 1951 June was united in marriage to Kenneth Luebke. The couple were faithful members of St. Martin Lutheran Church where June volunteered for various activities over the years. June enjoyed being a mom to her 2 sons and also worked for a while at Urban Telephone in Clintonville as an operator. She loved playing Bridge with her circle of friends and was a past member of the Clintonville Curling Club. A couple of her greatest passions in life were golf and the Green Bay Packers. June proudly served a term as the N.E.W.G.A. president and won multiple women’s golf championships as a member of Clintonville Riverside Golf Club. She enjoyed spending time at her cottage on Pine Lake in Hiles and traveled to many places throughout her life. June cherished her friends and always had a deep love for her church and faith in her Lord.

Survivors include: Her Son: Peter (Anne) Luebke.

Grandchildren: Mallory, Andrew “Drew”, Marie, Monica, Paul, & Mark Luebke.

June was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Kenneth Luebke, a son John Luebke, and siblings Gordon Lichtenberg, Betty Schroeder, and another in infancy.

A private graveside service will be held for June at the Graceland Cemetery in Clintonville with Rev. Christian Burg officiating.
