Karen Geiger Obituary

Karen J. Geiger, age 68 of the Township of Larrabee, passed away on Tuesday morning September 10, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Karen Jean Geiger was born November 26, 1955 in Marion, WI, daughter to the late Raymond & Ernstina (Krueger) Draeger. She attended Marion Schools where she played trumpet in the band and later graduated with the MHS class of 1974. Karen started working at Witt’s Sausage and was employed there for over 45 years; she also worked at Carver Wood Products for a time. She was united in marriage to Charles W. Geiger on May 26, 1990 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Marion. Cross stitching and making Christmas stockings for family members was something she really enjoyed. She looked forward to family camping every year and loved to go trail riding up north near her favorite spot at Lake Hilbert. She kept herself busy at home with her large vegetable garden and enjoyed making maple syrup with her brother Byron. Karen was protective of her family and will always be proud of her three loving sons.

She is survived by her husband: Charlie
Sons: Michael (Candy) Adams, Justin (Crystal) Geiger, & Derek Geiger
