Kenneth L. Taplin, age 80 of Clintonville passed away at The Pines in Embarrass following a heroic battle with cancer and dementia.
Kenneth was born on September 18, 1941 in Menasha as the son of the late Cecil and Helen (Weber) Taplin. He was united in marriage to Barbara Themer on June 2, 1979 in Neenah. Kenneth worked for the Galloway Co. in Neenah for 43 years and enjoyed woodworking and watching Nascar in his spare time.
Survivors include: His Wife: Barbara Taplin.
Step-Son: Richard (Rebecca) Mertens.
4 Grandchildren.
A Son: Kenneth Taplin, Jr.
Brothers: Tom (Ellen) Taplin, Lawrence (Red) Taplin, Dick (Nancy) Taplin, and James Taplin.
Sister: Nancy Packett.
Also a Brother-in-law: Lee Passehl.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Barbara Passehl and Patricia (Jerry) Gresenz, and a step-son Louis Mertens.
A visitation will be held for Kenneth on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 from 10am – 11am at the Highland Memorial Park Chapel, 3131 N. Richmond Street, Appleton, WI 54911.
