Kyle May, age 70 formerly of Marion passed away unexpectedly at his home October 5, 2024.
Kyle Leland May was born September 9, 1954, son of Russell E. and Wanda M. (Nielsen) May. He was raised on a small farm near Marion, and graduated from Marion High School with the Class of 1972. While in high school he participated in football and wrestling. Kyle moved to California in 1978 where he worked for AT&T / Pacific Bell until his retirement when he returned to Wisconsin; settling on his land in the Township of Polar. Kyle was an avid fisherman and deer hunter, and enjoyed watching football; especially the Packers. He was a great cook and baker and will always be remembered for his soups, bread, desserts, and especially his cookies.
Kyle is survived by:
Brothers: Karl (Liz) May, DePere, Kurt May, Appleton, Jeff (Rosa) May, Marion, Russell (Leiu) May, Alabama, & Oscar May, Oconto.
Sister: Jeannie May, Clintonville.
Nieces: Ketrina (Cory) Sullinger & children Carolina, Olivia, Charleigh, Leeah, and Penelope; April (Ken) Grant, Michigan; Nadia May, North Carolina; Michelle (Matt Rick) Fonseca & her children Damien, Elliot, and Natalie.
Nephews: Aidan May, Green Bay; Angel “Junior” (Stacie) Fonseca and children Lele, Taleya, Mari, Ziyon, Appleton; Michael (Tiffany Green) & his children Kash and Kane, Clintonville; Daniel (Bobbi) Fonseca & children LaMonte and Zamir, Milwaukee.
Aunts: Carol (Mike) Kubiaczyk, St. Germain and Pat (Steve) Luft, Arizona.
Sister-in-law: Nora Jende, Legend Lake.
Also numerous cousins, friends, and his furry companions Efa and Reno.
Kyle was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother.
A graveside service will be held for Kyle on Thursday October 17, 2024 at 11am at the Roseland Cemetery in the Town of Dupont, Waupaca County just south of Marion.
