Larry Clark Obituary

Larry D. Clark, age 80 of Clintonville formerly of Shawano, passed into the arms of Jesus surrounded by family at Shawano Health Services Saturday morning August 14, 2021.

Larry was born on November 5, 1940 as the son of the late Frederick and Mildred (Roloff) Clark. He grew up on a farm west of Shawano and as a young man faithfully served his country in the United States Army. Larry served from 1957 to 1960 spending a fair amount of his time stationed in Korea. He later married Wyoma Jean Lorge on May 26, 1962. The couple had 8 children and later divorced. Then on April 12, 1991 Larry was united in marriage to Betty Anderson in Clintonville. Throughout the years, Larry worked as a mechanic, in maintenance, cut up railroad cars, and later ran his own packaging company with Betty until their retirement. Larry was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, gardening, and snowmobiling. In his earlier years he enjoyed stock car racing and looked forward to a good game of Canasta or Rummy 500. Larry had a zest for life and battled serious medical issues for years, but he was a fighter until the end. His step-great-granddaughter Reana was a ray of sunshine that kept him going the last 5 years.
