Laura Mae (Laufenberg) Tody

Laura M. Tody, age 66 of Clintonville, passed away on Friday evening November 15, 2024 at ThedaCare Medical Center, New London. 

Laura Mae Tody was born January 7, 1958 in Madison, WI, the daughter of the late Robert & Mona (Leykauf) Laufenberg. She grew up in Waunakee, WI and attended school there. Laura was united in marriage to Patrick “Pat” Tody on December 3, 1977 in Missouri, where they lived, worked, and started their family. After moving to the Clintonville area, she worked at Hillshire Farm for nearly 15 years, and later, owned and operated the Last Chance Cafe near the Cloverleaf Lakes in the early to mid 2000’s. Family was everything to Laura and she devoted her entire life to her children and grandchildren. Pat passed away in June of 2021, and Laura continued to put family first. She could often be spotted riding her motor scooter around town and never missed a rummage sale. Laura was kind-hearted, caring, and made friends everywhere she went. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, her big heart, and the love she had for her family.

Grandchildren: Jefferey, HallieMae, Henry, Peyton, Owen, Isaiah, Ashton, Elizabeth, Brehnan, & Bentley
Great-grandchildren: JJ, Noah, NylaMae, & AJ
Sisters: Darlene (Chuck) Endres & LeAnne (Wayne) Haefer
Brothers: Dennis (Donna) Laufenberg & Allan (Mary) Laufenberg
Her best friend: Theresa Krause

Laura was preceded in death by her parents; her in-laws; husband, Pat; and a granddaughter, Katie-Mae.

Memorial services will be held 11 AM Friday, November 22, 2024 at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, South Location, 299 S. Main St. Clintonville, WI 54929. The Rev. Richard Vanman will officiate the service.

Visitation will be held on Friday at the funeral home from 9 AM until the time of service.
