Lewis C. Schutt, age 75 of Clintonville passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday November 12, 2024.
Lewis was born on March 30, 1949 as the son of Reinhold and Elda (Krause) Schutt. He graduated from Shawano High School in 1967. On April 19, 1969 Lewis was united in marriage to Sharon Hoppe at St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano. The couple moved to Clintonville where Lewis worked as a mechanic for Clintonville Motors, then he worked for Utility Tool & Body, and eventually retired from Elite Fire Apparatus Company in Tilleda. Lewis enjoyed riding motorcycle and was a member of Shawano Riders. His passion however was playing base guitar with Sharon and his friends in the band Neon Rainbow, Shadows of the Night, and Crosswalk. Together they traveled all over the state and met many wonderful people. Lewis had an outgoing personality and was very smart; especially when it came to computers. He collected all sorts of things from guns to Star Trek memorabilia and loved watching old westerns and Judge Judy. Even though he joked with them a lot, Lewis loved his grandchildren very much and cherished spending time with them when he could.
Survivors include: His Wife: Sharon Schutt.
Grandchildren: Tiara Deyo, Allexis Johnson, Burgundy Lynn Tessen, Guy Tessen, and Braxton Genskow.
Great-Grandchildren: Zeke, Zoey, Zion, and Colter.
Siblings: Mike (Sheri) Schutt, Jim (Joanne) Schutt, Jeff (Lisa) Schutt, Pat (Shelly) Schutt, and Jackie (Brian) Raddant.
