Lonnie Lee Durkey

Lonnie L. Durkey, age 64 of the Town of Larrabee, passed away on July 11, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. 

Lonnie Lee Durkey was born in Clintonville on August 26, 1957 to the late Walter 
and Jeanette (Dieck) Durkey. He graduated from Clintonville High School in 1976 and 
began working for Walker Forge until his retirement in June of 2020, living his 
entire life in Clintonville. He enjoyed working in his garage at home, spending 
time with his friends, especially Jeff Hartwig, and his cat Casper.
 
He is survived by four brothers and a sister: Dennis (Judy) Durkey of Menasha; 
Ron (Melissa) Durkey, Terry (Mary Jo) Durkey and Larry Durkey all of Clintonville; 
and Doreen (Mike) Weisnicht of Shawano. He is further survived by four nieces 
and nephews and other relatives and friends.
 
Lonnie was preceded in death by his parents, and other relatives and friends.
 
As per his wishes, no formal public service will be held. A private committal will take place at Roseland Cemetery, Township of Dupont.
