Lorena "Susie" C. (Moder) Rogers

Lorena “Susie” C. Rogers, age 91 of Marion passed away peacefully Monday afternoon October 16, 2023 at the Homme Home in Wittenberg.

Lorena was born on September 17, 1932 at her family’s home in Clintonville as the daughter of the late George and Loretta (Thebo) Moder. She attended St. Rose Catholic School and graduated from Clintonville High School. On February 3, 1951 Lorena was united in marriage to Evan Rogers in Kaukauna. The couple lived in various communities around the state before moving to Clintonville in 1968 and later Marion in 1971. Lorena worked a few jobs throughout her life including as a secretary for Nolan Sales in Marion. In her spare time Lorena and Evan often setup at local flea markets to sell antiques and also enjoyed going to rummage sales. The couple were also members of the Clintonville Restless Riders Horse Club and the Marion Winter Wanderers Snowmobile Club. Lorena even enjoyed deer hunting and proudly harvested the largest buck of her group over the years. She loved her grandchildren and made an impression on each of them in different ways. Lorena could get a stain out of anything, kept up with technology, and at times had no filter. She was always there when needed and will be remembered lovingly by her family.

Her Children: Vicki Rogers, Patrick (Kelly) Rogers, Tom (Patty) Rogers, and Andrew (Tricia) Rogers. 
8 Grandchildren & 9 Great-Grandchildren.
Siblings: Lila “Polly” Rodgers & Glenn Moder.
Sisters-in-law: Mary, Nancy, Patsy, and Mary Ann Moder.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Evan Rogers in 2021, siblings Louie (Alice) Moder, Wesley Moder, Wayne Moder, Charlie Moder, & Ronald Moder, and by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Freeman (Kaye) Rogers, Lila Burns, Myrna Moder, and Norman Rogers.

Lorena’s funeral mass will be held privately at 11am on Monday October 23, 2023 at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory (South Location at 299 S. Main Street) in Clintonville with Fr. Timothy Shillcox O. Praem officiating. Family will start gathering at 10am Monday. Interment will take place at Roseland Cemetery in the Town of Dupont, Waupaca County. www.eberhardtstevenson.com
