Luella M. Wuske, age 81 of the Township of Grant, Shawano County, passed away early Friday morning, June 21, 2024 at The Pines Post-Acute & Memory Care surrounded by her family.
Luella Marie Wuske was born April 22, 1943 daughter to the late Otto & Linda (Gruetzmacher) Bredendick. She attended Weasel Dam School and later Tigerton High School sharing her school days with her future husband Floyd Wuske. Luella graduated in 1961 and attended nursing school in Milwaukee for a time. She was united in marriage to Floyd Ronald Wuske on December 15, 1962 at Zion Lutheran Church, Caroline where the couple were current members. Luella taught Sunday School over the years and was involved in other aspects of the church. After working for Hansen Glove Factory, Clintonville for a time, Luella later enjoyed dairy farming. She was proud of her Red and White Holstein herd and enjoyed going to cattle auctions with her husband. Her green thumb was evident by the flowers and plants she kept through the winter and her large garden in the summer. She enjoyed Polka music and specifically the Hauser Hot Shots over the years. Luella was known for her crafting and enjoyed attending craft fairs; as well as being active with the Share Box program in the Tigerton area.
Luella is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Floyd

Grandchildren: Brandi Wuske, Wyatt Wuske, & Michael (Audi Green) Wuske
Great-granddaughter: Lillian Green

Niece & Caretaker: Stacy Krug
Luella was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Otto & Arlin Bredendick; adopted-brother, Charles Hintz; & her adopted father & mother, Adolph & Irma Hintz.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at Zion Lutheran Church, Caroline, with the Rev. James Folz officiating. Interment will take place following the service in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday at the church from 9 AM until the time of service.
The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Tigerton, is assisting the Wuske family with Luella’s arrangements.
