Lyndsey M. (Poppe) Thomson, age 37 of Tigerton passed away surrounded by cherished family and friends on Sunday October 13, 2024 at Froedert Hospital in Milwaukee.
Lyndsey Michelle Poppe was born on January 15, 1987 in Appleton as the daughter of William Poppe and Tracie Ruckdashel. She was a 2006 graduate of Marathon High School and worked at Draeger Dairy milking cows during her schooling. After graduation she worked for Marathon Cheese and was united in marriage to John “Dave” Thomson on September 10, 2011 in Clintonville. The couple lived in the Weston area prior to moving to Tigerton in 2020. Lyndsey enjoyed crafting and camping; especially with her grandma Pat. She had a soft spot for animals and a flat out weakness for weiner dogs. Lyndsey also loved being around her family and cherished time with her grandchildren. She was very compassionate and always looking for ways to help others.

Grandchildren: Warren & Cortana White and Evelyn Thomson.
Parents: William (Joanne) Poppe & Tracie Ruckdashel.
In-Laws: John (Michelle) Thomson.
Grandparents: Pat Ruckdashel & Don and Janet Jarchow.
Brother: Dustyn Poppe.
Step-Brother: Aaron Jarchow.
Nephew: Silas Schroeder.
Niece: Rowan Gorman.
Brothers-in-law: Dennis (Tina) Thomson & Mikel Clingenpeel.
Close Friends: Nessa & Anne.
Also her beloved dogs: Oskar, Copper, & Tootsie.
Lyndsey was preceded in death by her grandparents Ruben & Arwyn Poppe and Robert Ruckdashel, mother-in-law Joan McSweeney, baby sister Jordynne Poppe, uncle Tim Ruckdashel, aunt Mary Hillman, and by her dog Lucy.
Funeral services will be held Friday October 18, 2024 at 11am at the Grace Lutheran Church in Bear Creek with Rev. Aric Fenske officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 9am until the time of service. Her family would like to thank the staff at Froedert Hospital and everyone who kept Lyndsey and her family in their thoughts and prayers.
