Mary Jane (Moriarty) Jole

Mary Jane Jole, age 82 of Clintonville, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021 at ThedaCare Medical Center, Waupaca.

Mary Jane “Mary” Jole was born on January 22, 1939 in Milwaukee, WI, daughter to the late John & Bernadine (Borzick) Moriarty. The family moved to the Waupaca area for a time, and later settled near Iola. They built and operated Wings Inn, in the 1950's a bar near Ogdensburg. After schooling, Mary moved to St. Paul, MN to start her training as a flight attendant; but before completing the courses, moved to Montana. After the birth of her daughter, Jodi; Mary returned to the Iola area to live near her parents. She later became a licensed practical nurse and was employed at Pine Manor, Embarrass, retiring around the year 2000. 

Mary is survived by her husband, Don

Grandchildren: Nick (Lindsey Knitter) Boone & Jamie (Matt) Johnson
Great-grandchildren: Evelyn & Felix Boone
Brother: Tom (Mary Lou) Moriarty 

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A graveside committal with urn burial will take place at 10 AM Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Manawa, with the Rev. Eric Hess officiating.
