Milosch “Milos” Domazet of Shawano, formerly of Clintonville, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday morning, June 9, 2021, one day after celebrating his 71st birthday with family.
Milos was born on June 8, 1950 in Willensen, Germany as the son of the late Trifun and Gisela Domazet. In 1951, he came with his parents to the United States to live in Chicago for several years before settling on the family farm in Clintonville where he resided until 2004. He lived in Shawano after that until earlier this month when he moved to Freedom. Milos graduated Clintonville High School in 1968. He worked in construction to earn money to attend MSOE and Stout State, studying electrical engineering, but his true passion was playing guitar, which he self taught. He played instrumentals for church functions and many parties and even played and sang live on the radio with his sister Stana. His God given talent was to hear a song and play it on guitar, no notes necessary. Milos enjoyed staying connected with family during the covid pandemic by virtual visits three times a week. He looked forward to the next “meet” to watch his niece play piano for him and his nephew play trumpet. He enjoyed spending time with family, all music; especially jazz, old western movies, taking a bike ride, and could always tell you last weeks Packer’s score. Anyone who knew Milos was aware of his kind heart and warm smile; always paying a compliment to those around him. He brought joy and positivity wherever he was. Milos was the best brother a sister could have. We will always remember his big heart, warm smile, and kind soul.
Milos is survived by his sisters Stana (Martin) Goffard of Kaukauna and Mirjana (Daniel) Goymerac of Appleton, and by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Trifun and Gisela Domazet.
A private funeral service will be held for Milos at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory in Clintonville with Rev. Brian Crocker officiating. Interment will take place at Graceland Cemetery also in Clintonville.
The family would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Jenny’s Assisted Living in Shawano, to Tina and everyone at Birch Hill Health Services in Shawano, and to Country Villa in Freedom where Milos planned to live in the future.
