Pamela J. Norton, age 49 of the Town of Pella, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025 at her home with her family by her side.
Pamela “Pam” Jean Norton was born February 1, 1976 in Shawano, WI daughter to Donna J. (Mischock) Walentowski and the late Robert G. Norton. She attended Clintonville Schools. Pam later graduated with the class of 1994. She worked at Marion Plywood, now Great Lakes Veneer, Marion, for many years until her health declined.
Pam left behind a legacy of laughter, love, and fierce friendship. Known for her amazingly wicked sense of humor, Pam had a rare gift for lighting up a room – often by pulling off a perfectly timed prank, especially at her mom’s expense.
She was a gifted artist, Pam could draw or sketch portraits from memory without having to have the subject to reference. She had a deep love for animals, treating her pets like family and always putting their needs before her own. Her compassion and humor made her not just a great friend, but the kind of person people felt lucky to know.
In her close-knit circle of friends, Pam was affectionately known as the "Dorothy" — the grounded heart of the group, full of wit, wisdom, and warmth. She was loyal, bold, and unafraid to be herself, which made her utterly unforgettable.
Pam’s absence leaves a hole that can’t be filled, but her spirit — and her laughter — will live on in the memories of all who loved her.
She is survived by her mother, Donna Walentowski (Roger Barkow), Siblings: Kerry Norton, Michelle Vanderlois (Steven Westgor), & Traci Norton Sister-in-law: Brenda Norton Nieces & nephews: Brooke Vanderlois, Riley Moede, Mikel Norton, & Paige Sears, Her best friends: Kathy Jepson and Bobbi Pederson
Pam was preceded in death by her father, Robert G. Norton; and siblings, Kelly Norton & Kevin Norton.
As per Pam’s wishes no formal services will be held at this time.
The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Clintonville, is assisting her family.
