Paul J. Lueck, age 81 of Kaukauna, passed away on Wednesday evening, October 29, 2025 at his home.
Paul James Lueck was born December 20, 1943 in Shawano, WI, son to the late Louis F. & Eleanora J. (Mueller) Lueck. He grew up in Embarrass and went to Clintonville schools, graduating high school with the class of 1962. After high school, Paul joined the army where he served for 2 years from May of 1964 to May of 1966. He married Mary Laux at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Marion WI. Paul was a very experienced technician for AT&T, after being employed there for 38 years. Outside of work, Paul enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting, fishing at his cabin up north in Hurley, as well as golfing. In his later years, he liked going to Kamp’s Bar on trivia night with friends, and going to grand and great grandkids sport’s games. He also enjoyed watching any of Wisconsin’s sports teams on TV. Another one of Paul’s favorite pastimes was watching birds and other wildlife eat from feeders he had set up.
Paul is survived by his children: Catherine (Bill) Huettl, Winneconne; Amy (Keith) Samuelson, Stanley WI; & Andrew (Laura Zeligman) Lueck, Glenview IL
Grandchildren: Hailey and Violet Huettl, Morgan and Cameron Lueck-Zeligman, Nicole (Jake) Lionberg, and Chloe Genske
Great grandchildren: Marcus, Claire, and Elliot Lionberg
Sister: Elaine (Dennis) Tiedt
Brother: Dale Lueck, Shawano
Paul was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary; a son, Matthew; and a brother, Allen Lueck.
Graveside committal and interment will take place at 10 AM on Tuesday November 4, 2025, at Riverside Cemetery in the Town of Matteson, with the Rev. Diana Ziegler officiating. Military honors will be conducted by VFW Post #664, American Legion Post #63, and American Legion Auxiliary Unit #63, all of Clintonville.
