Peggi L. (Jung) Strelow

Peggi L. Strelow, age 67 of Clintonville entered eternal rest with her Lord while at her home surrounded by her loving family on Friday morning, March 13, 2020.

Peggi was born on October 18, 1952 in Shawano as the daughter of the late Raymond and Lucille (Hacker) Jung. She graduated from Shawano High School and was united in marriage to Thomas “Tom” Strelow on May 20, 1972 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Shawano. The couple resided in the Town of Herman and in 1973 started their own floral & gift shop in Clintonville; “Flowers & Things”. The couple shortly after moved to Peggi’s dream home in Clintonville; complete with a white picket fence. Peggi was a faithful member of Christus Lutheran Church in Clintonville where she enjoyed serving as the choir director with her “second family”. She was a blessing to the community; both through her floral ability as well as a caring citizen. Peggi loved attending the fireworks each year and being a part of Clintonville. She served the community as it’s Chamber Director and made many friends along the way during her career. Her children & grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she never missed any of Eric’s concerts or Katie’s ballgames. Peggi’s faith will carry her family through this difficult time until they can be together again.

Survivors include: Her Husband Thomas “Tom” Strelow.

Son: Eric and Dawn Strelow & their sons; Walker, Tagg, & Cort.

Daughter: Katie and Ron Ripley & their daughters; Lucy & Stella.

Siblings: Hermie (Barb) Jung, Patti (Dean) White, & Trudi (Gerald) Kraft.

Brothers-in-law & Sisters-in-law: Clyde Strehlow, Jerry (Betty) Strelow, Bonnie (Charlie) Bartz, and special sister-in-law Donna Richter.

Also numerous nieces, nephews, and her trusty assistant & friend; Jayne Radtke.

Peggi was preceded in death by her parents, her mother-in-law & father-in-law Clyde & Mildred Strelow, sister Diane Jung, brother Bob Jung, and brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law Floyd (Joan) Strelow, Robert Strelow, Donald “Pete” Strelow, Pat Strelow, & Gordon Richter.

Peggi’s funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at 10 AM at the Christus Lutheran Church in Clintonville with Rev. Brian Crocker officiating. Interment will follow at the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Leopolis. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4 – 7 PM at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory in Clintonville and at the church on Tuesday from 9 AM until the time of the service. www.eberhardtstevenson.com
