Peggy Stueck Obituary

Peggy A. Stueck, age 71 of the Township of Matteson, Waupaca County, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, September 28, 2022.

Peggy Ann (Schewe) Stueck, was born December 13, 1950, the fifth child born to the late Lawrence & Erma (Jueds) Schewe. Peggy grew up on the family farm outside of Clintonville, enjoying the country life. There she developed a life-long love of farm animals, especially horses. She also enjoyed gardening and going on adventures. She attended Clintonville Public Schools - graduating in 1968. While in school, she met her life-long partner, Jim. Following graduation, they married on July 19, 1969 at Christus Lutheran Church, Clintonville; where they remained members. They raised two children, Scott and Tamara. Peggy worked numerous jobs, one being Fleet Farm, then in the fall of 1988 she started work for Clintonville Public Schools. Five years as a study hall monitor, and then in the high school library for the next twenty-six years. Her love of learning helped her guide her students to succeed to the very best of their abilities. She treated each student like they were her own; teaching respect, honesty, integrity, and a love of reading. Peggy loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, other family members, and friends. She, along with family and friends, often traveled to Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana, where they hiked, rafted, and experienced The Dude Ranch adventure. Peggy had a heart for others who needed her. God placed many special people for her to give encouragement to, and care for. They carried a special place in her heart: Adela Schroeder, Bernice & Johnnie Polzin, and Vi Landskron. God gave Peggy a very special life to live, and now she has gone to see her Heavenly Father. Truly the world is a better place because Peggy lived, worked, and laughed in it for seventy-one years.
