Phyllis J. Thies

Phyllis June (Meyer) Thies, age 75 died on Thursday, April 13 after a
short illness at Greentree Nursing Home in Clintonville.
Phyllis was born on January 12, 1931 to Agnes and Byron Meyer in
Shawano, WI.
Phyllis married Robert William Hamilton Sr. in May of 1953 and lived
in Prairie Du Sac, WI until 1973 when she moved to Marion.
Phyllis later married James Thies in November of 1985.
She is survived by her sons: Robert William Hamilton Jr. of Madison
and Stephen Allan (Evelyn) Hamilton, San Diego, California; step-sons:
Douglas (Nancy) Hamilton, Billy Hamilton; step-daughters: Carol Fisher,
Bonnie (Lenny) Savonne; former son-in-law: Tom Harris, Sun Prairie;
grandson: Tom Harris Jr., Arizona, Bob Harris, Sun Prairie;
granddaughters: Kristine and Stephanie Hamilton, San Diego, CA; mother:
Agnes (Meyer) Kort, Greentree Nursing Home, Clintonville; brother: John
(Joyce) Meyer, Neenah; sister: Pat (Gene) Wetzel, Marion; step-sister
in-law Kathy Kort, Appleton and numerous nieces and nephews.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her daughter Katherine Harris, her
father Bryon; step-father Ervin Kort Sr., her former husbands, her
step-brother Ervin (Sonny) Kort Jr. and numerous aunts and uncles and
nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2006 at
Lions Point, Marion, WI from 2:00-4:00.
