Ramona Martha (Lehman) Christopherson

Ramona M. Christopherson, age 95 of Clintonville, passed away early Sunday morning, July 26, 2026 at Aster Assisted Living, Clintonville with her family by her side.

She was born Ramona Martha Lehman on April 29, 1931, in Bear Creek, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Raymond S. and Gladys H. (Ramsdell) Lehman. Ramona was united in marriage to Marvin Christopherson at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bear Creek.Throughout her life, Ramona dedicated her time and talents to both her work and her community. She worked in local schools as a special education aide, served as a meter reader and clerical worker for Clintonville Utilities, and worked alongside her husband handling accounting and clerical duties for the Aniwa Feed Mill. A faithful member of St. Rose Catholic Church, Ramona brought energy and creativity to everything she did. She was an avid crafter who loved to create to her heart's content and possessed a knack for making nearly anything with her hands. Ramona and Marvin enjoyed traveling together for many years, spending warm winters in Punta Gorda, Florida, and treasured summers at their cottage on Post Lake, Wisconsin. Following Marvin’s passing in 2023, Ramona made her home at Aster Assisted Living, where she cherished forming many wonderful new friendships. Above all, Ramona was a devoted and deeply beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Ramona is survived by her children: Dawn (August “Butch”) Kratzke, Dan (Barb) Christopherson, and her daughter-in-law, Deb Christopherson
Grandchildren: Ann (Tim) Birling, Christopher Kratzke, Andrew (Lisa) Kratzke, Craig Kratzke, Andrew Christopherson, Katie (friend Joe) Christopherson, Cory (Kia) Christopherson, Casey Christopherson, & Carey (Mike) Dey
Great-Grandchildren: Brandon, Chelsey, Macie, Kiana, Olivia, Ella, Audrey, Matthew, Zoe, Leif, Caleb, Gavin, Brynnlee, and Carter
Siblings: Jack (Connie) Lehman, Rose (Gary) Monty, Bill Lehman, Tom (Joan) Lehman, & Joe (Patty) Lehman
As well as two brothers-in-law, a sister-in-law, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. 

Ramona was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marvin in 2023; a son, Dennis Christopherson; siblings, Betty (John) Sasman, Jim (Eunice) Lehman, Helen (John) Jaeger, Virg (Gene) Lautenschlager, and Mary Radtke; as well as five brothers-in-law, and five sisters-in-law.
 
A Memorial Mass will be held for Ramona at 11 AM on Thursday, July 30, 2026 at St. Rose Catholic Church in Clintonville with Fr. Simon Minyati officiating. Inurnment will take place at St. Rose Parish Cemetery at 2 PM. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday at the church from 9 AM until the time of the service. 

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established by Ramona’s family at a later date. 

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the care-givers at Aster Assisted Living, as well as the nurses at Compassus and Moments Hospice. They would also like to thank all of her new friends made at Aster since she started living there in 2023.
