Randal “Rudy” E. Roehl, age 64 of Shawano passed away at his home Monday afternoon November 9, 2020 under the care of Unity Hospice and his loving family.

Randal Eugene Roehl later known to most as “Rudy” was born on July 17, 1956 in Oshkosh as the son of Eugene and Jean (Reinke) Roehl. Rudy graduated from Clintonville High School with the Class of 1974 where he was a member of the curling team. Following high school he enjoyed playing softball in area bar leagues and worked for Peterson Built Products in Embarrass as a mechanic for a couple of years. Rudy spent most of his working career as a truck driver; working for Badger Transport, Holman Trucking, and Retzlaff Transport out of Berlin prior to retiring in 2019. He was united in marriage to Fay (Yaeger) Shepard on October 22, 2009 in Shawano. Fay and Rudy loved camping; whether it was camping locally with their trailer or at their permanent site on Fawn Lake. Rudy proudly served as a volunteer firefighter for the Village of Embarrass for over 21 years. He was a current member of Resurrection Lutheran Church in Shawano and had faith in his Lord. Rudy’s soul was at home in the outdoors and he loved to hunt and fish for just about any wild game over the years. His love for his family ran deep as he was loved and will be missed by them all.
