He was united in marriage to Fay (Yaeger) Shepard on October 22, 2009 in Shawano. Fay and Rudy loved camping; whether it was camping locally with their trailer or at their permanent site on Fawn Lake. Rudy proudly served as a volunteer firefighter for the Village of Embarrass for over 21 years. He was a current member of Resurrection Lutheran Church in Shawano and had faith in his Lord.
