Richard Allen Siewert, 86, of Clintonville, WI and formerly of Eau Claire, WI, passed away peacefully on September 15, after battling a lingering illness.
Richard, who was most often called Dick, was well known and loved by many. Throughout his years, he made many friends just by offering a kind word, a joke, a life lesson or a helping hand. His presence on Earth will be sorely missed, but we rejoice in the fact that he has found his final resting place in Heaven.
Dick is survived by his wife, Karen; his children Jackie (Mike) Dahl, Larry (Susan) Siewert, Peter (Nancy Rogness) Siewert, Bill (Bonnie Brantner) Siewert, Karalene Siewert, Cathy Siewert, and Andrea (Brian) Titulaer; his grandchildren Libbie (Jake Ellinghuysen) Dahl, Aubree (Soha) Javaherian, Erica Siewert, Leanne Siewert, Owen Siewert, Molly Siewert, Dale Meyer, Reed Titulaer and McKenna Titulaer; and great grandson Tucker Ellinghuysen. He is also survived by his sister, Ilene Steinmeyer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Reuben and Iona Siewert, both of Eau Claire, WI.
The family would like to say a special thank you to all of the staff of Compassus Hospice who have lovingly cared for Dick over the past few years. In addition, the family would like to thank Mary Wais and Donna Haas for their ongoing help, care and support, and Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home for their assistance.
