Rita G. (Diem) Hohn

Rita G. Hohn, age 95 of the Town of Fairbanks, Shawano County passed away at her home on Friday, August 22, 2025.

Rita Germaine Diem was born on April 26, 1930 in the Town of Germania, Shawano County as the daughter of the late Carl and Esther (Malueg) Diem. She graduated from Tigerton High School in 1947 and was a faithful member of St. John Lutheran Church in Tigerton where she was active with the Ladies Aid and LWML. Rita enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous friends and relatives.

Survivors include: 
Her Daughter: Rhonda (Michael) Laatsch.
Son: Bruce Hohn.
Grandchildren: Aaron Laatsch, Naomi (Joseph) Martin, Seth (Samantha) Laatsch, and Jacob (Elizabeth) Laatsch.
Great-Grandchildren: Emma & Oliver Martin, August, Maxwell, Louis, Millie, Jack, and Evelyn Laatsch.

Rita was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Esther Diem, son Bryan Hohn, and by brothers Carl (Maxine) Diem & Marvin (Doris) Diem.

Rita’s funeral service will be held Tuesday August 26, 2025 at 11am at St. John Lutheran Church in Tigerton with Rev. Dean Suehring officiating. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery in Tigerton.
