Robert “Bob” L. Anderson, age 73 of the Town of Helvetia, Waupaca County passed away unexpectedly on Friday morning, Apirl 10, 2026.
Robert Leon Anderson was born on February 2, 1953 in Clintonville as the son of the late Leonard C. and Gloria (Phillips) Anderson. He graduated from Clintonville High School in 1971 and was united in marriage to Irene Miller at Christus Lutheran Church in Clintonville on October 9, 1976. The couple farmed in the Town of Dupont prior to moving to their hobby farm in the Town of Helvetia. They truly loved serving as foster parents for several children and also a few relatives over the years. Bob loved taking care of his animals on the farm and taking trips to the casino. Bob also had an amazing green thumb and thoroughly enjoyed tending to his flowers. He worked as an ‘in-home’ care giver for a number of area residents, and although he could be stubborn at times he was the type to give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.
Survivors include:
His Siblings: Dennis (Fawn) Anderson, Pat Sasman, Lenny (Jean) Anderson, Tim (Chris) Anderson, and Myron (Fiance Leah) Anderson.
Brothers-in-law & Sisters-in-law: Carol (Eugene) Begrow, Judy (Vince) Green, Trudy Miller, Lee (Jackie) Miller, and Franklin (Shannon) Miller.
Also numerous nieces and nephews.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Gloria Anderson, his wife Irene in 2017, and by a brother-in-law Rueben Miller.
Per Bob’s wishes no formal services will be held at this time. His family would like to thank the Waupaca County Emergency Response personnel for their help and quick action to try to save him. The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory of Clintonville is assisting his family with the arrangements. www.eberhardtstevenson.com
