Rosemary Reichert, age 66 of Marion passed away Tuesday afternoon April 8, 2025 at the ThedaCare Medical Center in Appleton.
Rosemary Torrez was born on July 20, 1958 in Morton, TX as the daughter of Rosario (Cervantez) Torrez and the late Bidal Torrez, Sr. She moved with her family to Clintonville as a young girl and graduated from Clintonville High School in 1978. She lived in Milwaukee for a short time prior to moving back to Clintonville and attended the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater where she studied Teen Counseling. While in Whitewater she met Mark Reichert from Milwaukee and the couple resided in Milwaukee. They were united in marriage on March 5, 1993 and moved to Marion. After moving several times in the Clintonville area they settled back in Marion where they have resided since. Rosemary was a member of Family of Christ Assembly of God Church in Clintonville. In her spare time she enjoyed working on puzzles, listening to Christian music, or just sitting outdoors in the sunshine reading a good book. One of her favorite pastimes was watching the Walking Dead on tv. She was an excellent mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending every possible moment with her grandchildren.
Survivors include: Her Husband: Mark Reichert.
Her Mother: Rosie Torrez.
Her Mother-in-law: Ann Zelnik (Reichert).
Children: Breanna (Louis) Vidal and Brandon Reichert.
Grandchildren: Lenaiah Reichert, Aiden Altman, Olivia Altman, Felicity Reichert, Jada Reichert, and Riley, Aryiah, Cameron, & Everleigh Vidal.
Her Siblings: Bidal (Sherry) Torrez, Jr., Ramiro (Jodie) Torrez, Martha (Gerald) Dethardt, Maria (Glen) Berg, and Raul (Angel) Torrez.
Also numerous nieces and nephews.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her father Bidal Torrez, Sr., a brother Rudy Torrez, and a nephew Tyler Torrez.
A Celebration of Rosemary’s Life will be held Saturday April 12, 2025 at 3pm at the Family of Christ Assembly of God Church in Clintonville with Rev. Steve Devroy officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 2pm until the time of service. Rosemary’s family would also like to thank the staff of the ICU at ThedaCare Appleton. You were all wonderful.
