Sajid “Saj” A. Baldwin, age 51 of Neenah, formerly of Clintonville passed away at his home on Thursday, January 18, 2024 following a hard fought battle with mental health issues.
Sajid Andrew Baldwin, affectionately known as “Saj”, was born on November 28, 1972 in Clintonville as the son of Ronald Baldwin and the late Donna (Johnson) Baldwin. Saj graduated from Clintonville High School with the Class of 1991 and earned his degree in Police Science from UW Oshkosh and Fox Valley Technical College. He worked as an officer for the Marion Police Department for a number of years, then drove semi and cement truck for a number of area businesses, and had been living in Neenah and working for Wisconsin Resource Center in Oshkosh as a Psychiatric Care Technician since 2009. As a young man, Saj enjoyed playing sports and was a fan of the Brewers and Packers throughout his life. He was proud of his Corvettes, loved hunting, and spent as much of his free time as he could with his nephews.
Survivors include: His Father: Ronald Baldwin.
Step-Mother: Wanda Wright.
Sister: Tajia (Nate) Retzlaff.
Step-Brother: Perry Zukas and his son, Jacob.
Nephews: Raymond and Oliver Retzlaff.
Also numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
Saj was preceded in death by his mother Donna (Johnson) Baldwin, his grandparents Earl and Loretta Baldwin & Lloyd and Mary Ann Johnson, as well as other family members and friends.
Saj’s memorial service will be held Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 11am at Christus Lutheran Church in Clintonville with Rev. Brian Crocker officiating. Visitation will be held at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory (North location), 53 N. Main Street, Clintonville from 5-8pm on Wednesday and at the church on Thursday from 9am until the time of the service.
