Stanley Wyszkowski Obituary

Stanley E. Wyszkowski, age 91 of the Township of Grant, Shawano County, passed away Saturday morning June 4, 2022 at the ThedaCare Medical Center in Shawano.

Stanley Edward Wyszkowski was born on September 8, 1930 in Milwaukee as the son of the late Alex and Sophie (Ostrowski) Wyszkowski. He grew up in the Milwaukee area and was united in marriage to Rita Woida on July 15, 1950 at St. John Kanty Catholic Church in Milwaukee. Stanley worked as a plant manager for Wisconsin White Freightliner Trucks for many years. Aside from raising a family, the couple’s biggest dream was to move to a farm in “God’s Country” near Marion; a feat they accomplished upon retirement around 1980. Stanley loved spending time outdoors deer hunting and fishing; especially if it included his family and friends. One of his biggest thrills was fishing on Lake Michigan with Rita and his sons Steven and Michael catching king salmon. Stanley and Rita also enjoyed many card games over the years and after her passing last year are now together again. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather who will be missed dearly.

Stanley is survived by:
His Daughters: Kathleen Szewczykowski & Kristine (John) Henselin.
Son: Steven (Diana) Wyszkowski.
Daughter-in-law: Anne Wyszkowski
4 Grandchildren & 6 Great-Grandchildren.
Also a sister-in-law: Theresa Laughrin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Rita in 2021, a son Michael, a son-in-law Thomas Szewczykowski, a brother Raymond (Regina) Wyszkowski, and a brother-in-law Robert Laughrin.

A private memorial gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date. The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory of Marion is assisting his family. www.eberhardtstevenson.com
