Steven L. Dewhurst

Steven L. Dewhurst, age 71 of Marion passed away Monday evening April 17, 2023 at Edenbrook of Appleton. 

Steven Leroy Dewhurst was born on August 15, 1951 in Clintonville as the son of the late Harry and Phyllis (Fradrich) Dewhurst. He graduated from Marion High School in 1970 and was united in marriage to Carol Starr on April 18, 1972 in Shawano. The couple resided in Marion while Steven worked at FWD Seagrave in Clintonville and later Oshkosh Truck. He loved spending time outdoors fishing and hunting and looked forward to his trips to Canada; something he did numerous times over the years. 

Survivors include: His Wife: Carol.
Sons: Steve (Jenny) Dewhurst, Jr., Gary (Alanda) Dewhurst, & Bryan (Lesa) Dewhurst.
Grandchildren: Dakota, Collin, Gage, Gavin, Nicholas, Abby, and Lincoln.
Step-Grandchildren: McKaylyn, Cecile, and Liam.
5 Great-Grandchildren plus another on the way.
Brothers: Scott (Kathy) Dewhurst, Shannon (Laura) Dewhurst, Stanton (Stephanie) Dewhurst, Shelby (Friend Kelly) Dewhurst, and Stuart (Joann) Dewhurst.
Sisters: Susan (John) Sederstrom & Stacy Dewhurst.
Also numerous nieces and nephews.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents Harry & Phyllis Dewhurst, sister Sharon Briske, brother Sheldon Dewhurst, and a grandson Dylan Dewhurst.

Per Steven’s wishes no formal services will be held at this time. Inurnment will take place at Roseland Cemetery in the Town of Dupont, Waupaca County. His family would like to thank the staff and CNAs at Edenbrook and Bristol Hospice for the way they cared for Steven during his stay.
