Susan A. Adams, age 64 of the Township of Belle Plaine, Shawano County, passed away on Friday May 14, 2021 at her home.
Susan “Sue” Ann Adams was born July 10, 1956 at Mercy Medical Center, Oshkosh, WI, daughter to the late Ted Sr. & Elsie (Bertram) Gillick. She attended Winneconne High School and graduated with the class of 1974. Sue lived, for a time, in Tampa, FL, but later moved back and worked for Genex Cooperative, Shawano. She later worked as an optician at the Shawano Vision Clinic for many years. Sue was a member of a homemaker’s club, as well as various craft and book clubs. In her spare time, Sue loved to read, watch movies, craft, and enjoyed the outdoors as she gardened. She always looked forward to her “G.G.N.O.” nights, (Gillick Girls Night Out); where Sue would enjoy a girl’s night out. They would go out to eat, visit Door County or Wisconsin Dells, or even took vacations to Cancun. The kitchen was home to Sue, she could cook a delicious meal unlike any other, and also loved to bake. Sue will be remembered for her heavy use of the phrase: “You Betcha!,” her amazing food creations, and as a loving mother and grandmother.
