Tammy Carpenter Obituary

Tammy L. Carpenter, age 55 of Marshfield, formerly of Clintonville, passed away early Tuesday morning April 12, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family after fighting glioblastoma brain cancer.

Tammy Lynn Carpenter was born on June 11, 1966 in Clintonville, WI, daughter to the late Harold W. & Delores M. (Jenkins) Kirchner. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Martin Lutheran Church, Clintonville and remained a member until she moved to Marshfield to be closer to family. Tammy worked at McDonalds for many years in both Clintonville and Greenville, later working as a food inspector at Infinity Food Group, in Plover, WI. She was very adventurous and loved to travel; her favorite destination was Puerto Rico and she really wanted to go back. She also liked camping, hiking, and sight-seeing around Wisconsin and other states. Time spent up at the cabin near Aniwa was always treasured along with spending time with her beloved Joe. Tammy collected Native American dolls, teddy bears, and gift shop items from all of her travels; she liked to share them with family and friends. She enjoyed trying her luck at the local casinos; Ho-Chunk and Oneida were her favorites. Her eyes were always on the lookout for birds of any sort, but she really loved to spot Bald Eagles whenever she could. Her favorite thing of all, was the time she was able to spend with her children and grandchildren.
