Thomas Schultz Obituary

Thomas “Tom” A. Schultz, age 43 of New London, passed away Tuesday July 21, 2026, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in New London.

Thomas Anthony Schultz was born on April 7, 1983, in Milwaukee, to Mitchell Schultz and Lucille (Gagnon) Jannusch. As a young teenager, Tom moved with his family to Clintonville where he graduated from Clintonville High School with the Class of 2001. After high school, he worked for Walker Forge for a short time and after he graduated from college, Tom moved to New London, where he built a career at Granite Valley Lumber. Starting as a millwright, he eventually worked his way up through the ranks and became a manager. For the past 16 years, Tom shared his life with his beloved girlfriend Noelle, creating countless memories together. Tom enjoyed golfing, camping, and cheering on the Milwaukee Brewers, attending games whenever he could. One of his most treasured experiences was taking a bucket list trip along Route 66 in an old car that he restored with his father. He had a passion for working on cars and motorcycles, and always enjoyed the challenge of fixing, restoring, or improving them. Tom loved being around family and friends and was always up for a good time.

Thomas is survived by:
His girlfriend of 16 years, Noelle Chmielewski
His parents, Mitch (Lori) Schultz and Lucille (Daniel) Jannusch
Grandmothers, Virginia Woelky and Darlene Gagnon
A sister, Jennie (Dan) Weber
Nieces, Amelia (Zach Sorenson), Andi, and Alicia Weber

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Howard Woelky, Richard Gagnon, Lu (Butch) Schultz, and Ed (Catherine) Blundon.
