Thomas "Tom" Wollenberg Obituary

Thomas “Tom” L. Wollenberg age 67 of Clintonville passed away unexpectedly Friday afternoon January 19, 2024 at the ThedaCare Medical Center in New London.

Thomas Lee Wollenberg was born on September 28, 1956 in Neenah as the son of the late Martin and Leila (Henschel) Wollenberg. He was active in school sports and graduated from Clintonville High School in 1975. As a young man he attended Christus Lutheran Church in town. Thomas worked at FWD Seagrave in Clintonville for a number of years prior to becoming and Assembler for Curwood’s R.E.& D. division in New London, now known as Amcor. Thomas was united in marriage to Darlene Winters on July 6, 1991 at the Red Mill in Waupaca. After taking early retirement after 23 years in 2008 Thomas worked various other jobs but his favorite was fixing cars and small engines at his home; a skill he shared with his son Jake. He definitely did things his way, but was known by his granddaughter’s as the fun “Papa”. Thomas had a great sense of humor, enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing, was a Chevy guy through and through, and enjoyed teaching his granddaughter how to play guitar. His leadership and strength will be missed by his family and closest friends.

Survivors include: His Wife: Darlene Wollenberg.
Daughter: Darla (Shad) Harney and their daughters Violet and Daleila.
Son: Jake (Alisha) Wollenberg and their daughters Isabella and Jackie.
Brothers: David and Scott (Lisa) Wollenberg.
Sisters: Donna (Daniel) Pingel, Sr. and Carol Sawall.
