Vernon C. Bessette

Vernon C. Bessette, age 63 of the Town of Grant, Shawano County passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday afternoon, April 26, 2026.

Vernon Charles Bessette was born on May 28, 1962 in New London as the son of the late William and Margaret (Beech) Bessette. He graduated from Custer High School in Custer, MT and began working as a diesel mechanic. Vernon met Anna Mae Nordhagen and the couple were united in marriage. They had two children prior to Anna’s passing. Vernon then moved back to Wisconsin and was united in marriage to Lori Kirchner. The couple had a daughter Casie prior to their divorce. Vernon was later united in marriage to Cindy (Jolly) Blum who also preceded him in death. Vernon enjoyed fishing, working on cars, and being around his family. He was the type of guy that would help anyone who needed it. 

Survivors include: 
His Children: Carl (Trisha) Bessette, April (Travis Genske) Bessette, & Casie (Lito) Tello.
Grandchildren: Riley, Lilyana, Eithan, Melody, Caestin, Willow, and Mariana.
Siblings: Charles “Chuck” (Sally) Bessette and Margaret Bessette. 
Also numerous other relatives.

Vernon was preceded in death by his parents, wives Anna Mae & Cindy, and brothers Bill, James, & Carl Bessette.
