Earl L. Shepard Sr., age 83 of Weyauwega, formerly of Clintonville, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2015, at Lakeview Manor Nursing Home, Weyauwega.

Earl Lawrence Shepard Sr. was born August 17, 1932 in the Town of Maine, Outagamie County., the fourth son of the late John & Alice (Allen) Shepard. Young Earl grew up on the home farm and attended school in Leeman. As an adult he continued to operate the family farm in the Town of Maine, and also worked various jobs until his retirement and moved to the Clintonville area. He was married to JoAnn Lorge on August 16, 1986 at Trinity U.C.C. Church in rural Shiocton. Earl was a man who loved to talk about farming and to reminisce about days gone by on the farm. His loyalty to Ford trucks was something he was proud of; putting them to good use through farm work. Earl will be remembered as a gentle man who was hardworking and never complained about a thing.

His brothers-in-law: Harry (Kathy) Lorge, Kaukauna

                                    Morris “Bucky” Lorge (Special Friend: Kathy), Bear Creek

                                    Roger Lorge (Special Friend: Sherry), Tigerton

Numerous nieces and nephews

Earl was preceded in death by his parents; his wife JoAnn; 3 sisters Darlene, Lelah, & Cora; 5 brothers John, Harold, Ralph, Merton, & James.

A memorial service will be held 11 AM Saturday, November 28, 2015 at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Clintonville with the Rev. Moira Finley officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 AM until the time of service. Inurnment will take place at Graceland Cemetery, Clintonville at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
