Just a few days prior to Ed's passing Doug and I observed that Ed was something of a Marion icon, best known for his smile and charming ways. We feel blessed to have known Ed and had so many opportunities to enjoy his humor and his caring nature. My sincere condolences to the Carley clan. I will never forget my Uncle Ed’s heartfelt warmth, kindness, & love, when visiting the Carley farm from the big city. Heartbroken in Florida. Flying up Thursday. Can’t wait to celebrate his incredible life, with the most wonderful family I had the privilege of growing up with; The Carley’s! As Ed once said: “Not a bad apple and a bunch”.
