Lucille M. (Opper) Dietzen

Lucille M. Dietzen, age 91 of Clintonville, formerly of Crivitz, passed away peacefully Thursday evening, October 16, 2014 at the Greentree Health and Rehabilitation Center in Clintonville.

Lucille was born in Birnamwood on April 27, 1923 as the daughter of the late Philip and Mary (Lotharius) Opper.  Lucille was raised in the Birnamwood area and on November 7, 1941 was united in marriage to Martin Dempsey.  The couple moved to a farm in the Town of Bear Creek and raised 2 daughters before divorcing.  While living in Bear Creek, Lucille worked at the Hanson Glove Factory in Clintonville and later at the Toy Factory in Hortonville.  On August 18, 1976 Lucille was united in marriage to Lester Dietzen.  The couple resided in Crivitz where Lucille was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.  Lester preceded his wife in death on March 10, 1999.  Lucille enjoyed taking care of the flowers around her home and making crafts in her spare time.   

Survivors include:

Her Daughters:  Joan Ebert & Kathie Olson, both of Clintonville.

Grandchildren:  Tim (Crystal) Ebert, Clintonville; Kellie (Dan) Day, Oregon;

                          Tracy Sirna, Clintonville, & Travis Olson, Shawano.

Great-Grandchildren:  Rachel & Jason Ebert, Clintonville; Ticeon Olson, Shawano;

                                    Hunter, Christie, & Aiden Sirna, all of Clintonville.

Step-Daughter:  Sharon (Jim) Lorenz, Crivitz.

Also Step-Grandchildren & Step-Great-Grandchildren.

A Sister:  Agnes (Bernard) Krueger, Woodruff.

2 Brothers:  Melvin (Pat) Opper, & Norman Opper, all of Birnamwood.

Also numerous nieces, nephews, and other family.

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lester, a son-in-law Ronald Ebert, sisters Anne Clark, Marie Thoma, & Ella Wiegman, and brothers Leonard, Vern, Clarence, & Bill Opper.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at 11 AM at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory in Clintonville with Deacon Lincoln Wood officiating.  Interment will follow at the Holy Angel Cemetery in the Town of Buchanan, Outagamie County.
