Sidney A. Perathaner

Sidney A. Perathaner, age 96 of Clintonville, passed away peacefully Tuesday evening, November 11, 2014 at Kindred Hearts in Clintonville.

Sidney was born on August 15, 1918 in Milwaukee as the son of the late Bruno and Adela (Ihlenfeld) Perathaner.  On August 16, 1941 he was united in marriage to Dorothy Deno in Milwaukee.  The couple later moved to Clintonville and were members of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sugar Bush.  Dorothy preceded her husband in death on May 8, 2012. Sidney was employed as a motor winder at Louis Allis Co. in Milwaukee until his retirement.  He had a very large garden years ago and loved working in it.  Sidney also enjoyed fishing and hunting, especially when it came to pheasant and rabbit hunting.  He also looked forward to going out on Fridays for a fish fry with family or his friend Tom.

His Daughters:  Diane (Harry) Frankfurth, Clintonville.

                          Ilene (Rev. Frederic) Berger, Waupaca.

A Son-in-Law: Ralph Hencsik, Manitowoc.

7 Grandchildren:  Debra (Jeff) Wiedenhoeft, Donna (Kurt) Jobke, Todd (Lisa) Hencsik,

Jennifer (Patrick) McCann, Jeannette (Rev. Jason) Schulz, Kathleen (Ryan) Wiechmann, & Rev. Frederic (Stephanie) Berger.

14 Great-Grandchildren.

Sidney was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Dorothy of 70 plus years, a brother Howard Perathaner, and a daughter Joyce Hencsik.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 7 PM at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory in Clintonville with Rev. Preston Heuer officiating.  Interment will take place at 11 AM on Friday, November 21, 2014 at Pinelawn Memorial Park, 10700 W. Capitol Drive, Milwaukee, WI 53222.
