Virginia “Ginny” Miller, age 95 of the Town of Dupont, passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Greentree Health and Rehabilitation Center, Clintonville.
Virginia Dorothy Miller, was born September 19, 1919 in the Town of Dupont to the late Gustave and Minnie (Krueger) Miller, in the house where she would reside for the rest of her life. Her childhood was one of life on the farm, helping with chores from an early age and continuing to do the milking and baling whenever she had free time. She enjoyed her card clubs in her earlier years, and became quite the pianist, playing for school and church activities. Virginia worked for many years as a clerk with J.C. Penny. Virginia was like a second mother to her nieces and nephews, babysitting for most all of them. She also loved to have the family in her home for Christmas every year.
