Darhl M. Brockhaus, age 90 of Clintonville, passed away peacefully Sunday afternoon, May 3, 2015 at the Greentree Health & Rehabilitation Center in Clintonville.
Darhl was born on November 5, 1924 in Hilbert as the daughter of the late Rudolph and Rachel (Raddatz) Jantz. As a young girl she moved to Caroline where her parents operated a grocery store. Darhl graduated from Marion High School in 1942 and was united in marriage to Raymond Brockhaus on May 6, 1947 in Caroline. The couple resided in Caroline where they were members of Zion Lutheran Church. Darhl enjoyed volunteering her time at Zion as the church organist for many years as well as teaching Sunday School. The couple moved to Clintonville in 1962 where they became members of Christus Lutheran Church. Darhl also served her congregation there as a faithful member of the CLCW, Bible Study, and church choir. Aside from her loving personality, many would remember Darhl as a teller at the Truck City Credit Union in Clintonville where she worked from 1964 until her retirement in 1986. Darhl loved the game of golf. She was a longtime member of the Clintonville Riverside Golf Club where she was lucky enough to score a hole-in-one. She also enjoyed baking and fishing with her husband, Ray and her son, Steve.

A Brother: John (Mary) Jantz, Kohler, WI.
Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many beloved friends.
Darhl was preceded in death by her parents, son Steve, and a sister Joyce Sousek.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at 11 AM at Christus Lutheran Church in Clintonville with Rev. Brian Crocker officiating. Interment will follow at Greenleaf Cemetery in Marion.
