George O. Lilly

George Orson Lilly, age 78 of Marion, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at the Pine Manor Health Care Center, Embarrass.

 George was born on December 5, 1935 in Milwaukee, the son of the late Orson and Alice (Hupfer) Lilly. He was raised in Butler, WI where he later attended area schools. George served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1954 until his discharge in 1956. On March 30, 1957, George was united in marriage to Diane Cirra in Mt. Vernon, IL. The couple had lived in Butler, Brookfield, Milwaukee and Franklin until moving to Marion. Throughout the years, George worked as a freight truck driver. After he moved to Marion, he delivered trucks for the Marion Body Works until retirement. His hobbies included golf, bowling, playing cards, especially sheephead, and watching baseball and football, especially the Chicago Cubs, Milwaukee Brewers and the Green Bay Packers.

 His daughter: Deborah (Nick) Kiedrowski, Milwaukee

 His sons: George A. (Holly) Lilly, Miamisburg, OH

                        Kenneth F. (Carol) Lilly, Marion

                        John P. (Lore) Lilly, Appleton

 8 grandchildren

 6 great-grandchildren

 He was preceded in death by his parents.

 With respect to the wishes of the Lilly family, there will be no funeral services.
