To the Olk Family, and especially my classmate Doug.
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Please accept our deepest sympathy and sincere condolences. The sad news also generated a plethora of happy memories of growing up in Clintonville with your family. Although most of those memories were with Doug, I remember his father as being safe, steady, and supportive -- one of the pillars of our community. Again, sorry for your loss and I join with you in celebrating Mr. Olk's remarkable life.

To the family of James H. Olk,
I am sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in knowing that "Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18) With sympathy,
