Everyone who knew JoAnn was touched by her in some way. She was always so full of light, energy and knowledge. Those of us who knew her through the love of collecting phonographs will miss her for her infectious enthusiasm for the hobby. Sixty some years ago, JoAnn and I were students at Sunrise School. In the winter, when snow was deep, and the plows had made snowbanks along the roads, we played 'King On The Mountain'. JoAnn always won, she could shove us all in the snow banks and we came back to school soaking wet. Then the Sunrise 4-H club was formed, JoAnn was a founding member, and managed to take the most exhibits to the Waupaca County Fair at Weyauwega. Good memories of JoAnn. Delores

I had the privilege to know and work with Jo Ann as a volunteer for the Fox Cites Tax-Aide program for the past several years. Both fellow volunteers as well as clients all benefited from her diligence and skill in helping clients organize their documents. For our clients, she was often the first person they encountered and she did a terrific job in welcoming them to the site. I personally can’t count the number of times JoAnn assisted me in making sure our sites ran smoothly so that our clients would have a favorable experience.

JoAnn was liked and respected by all and was a truly wonderful person; I’m glad that I got to know her through the Tax-Aide program.

I had the good fortune to meet JoAnn when I did volunteer tax work with her in Little Chute last year. From the very first day I knew she was a very special lady. I so much enjoyed joking with her and getting to know her. She was a dedicated worker and wonderful associate. I will miss her and say a special prayer for her. Thank God I had the opportunity to get to know her. My sincere sympathy to all the family.

Several years ago I worked at the tax site in Kaukauna with JoAnn She was efficient, knowledgeable, but most of all warm and welcoming. I enjoyed chatting with her when it wasn't busy. I feel fortunate to have known her, even for a little while.
