Our sincere condolences to the family. I fondly recall meeting Leroy for the first time when I was in high school while trout fishing near Marion. I bumped into him a few more times after that and then had the opportunity to talk with him at length before a Big Falls Corn Roast parade many years later. I was fascinated by the story of Leroy's chance meeting in Korea during the war with my Uncle Darrell, a high school classmate of Leroy, while they were in the US Army. I will always remember Leroy as the quiet veteran and gentle outdoorsman. He will be missed.

I was so sorry to hear of Leroy's passing. My heart aches for you. May tears of sadness give way to tears of joy as you remember the wonderful times you had together. I truly enjoyed spending time with him and you whenever I saw you. May God bless you and be with you.

Even though we are many miles apart our thoughts and prayers are with you as you attended your Dear Husband Leroys funeral Service today now. Wishing we could be there with you.
