Marylu (Green) Roehl

Marylu Roehl, age 49 of the Township of Wescott, Shawano County, formerly of Clintonville, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday afternoon, October 13, 2016.

Marylu was born at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay on April 12, 1967 as the daughter of the late Gerald and Elsie (Flynn) Green. She graduated from Freedom High School in 1985 and was united in marriage to Brian Roehl on December 23, 1994 in Clintonville. The couple resided in the Clintonville area for many years and recently moved to the Town of Wescott. Marylu spent 30 years in the insurance industry and was currently employed at Johnson Insurance Agency in Clintonville. She enjoyed taking drives, trips to the casino, and was an excellent cook to say the least; she especially had a talent when it came to her Christmas cookies. Marylu was selfless and always there for a friend in need. She was a loving mother and grandmother and looked for any opportunity to spend time with her grandchildren.

Her Husband: Brian Roehl, Shawano.

Son: Derek (Taylor) Roehl, Shawano.

Grandchildren: Ava Krolow, Zayden Roehl, and a baby on the way.

Her Father-in-law & Mother-in-law: Eugene & Jean Roehl, Embarrass.

Brothers: John (Karen) Green, George (Barb) Green, Mike Green, Pete (Deb) Green, and Bill Green (Rose Tiegs).

Sister: Minnie (Bill) Nelson.

Nieces & Nephews: Kelly Green, April Green, Billie (Andy) Schleiss, and Joel (Wendy) Nelson.

Great-Nieces & Great-Nephews: Matt Nackers, Megan Nackers, Abby Schleiss, and Chase Nelson.

Marylu was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday, October 19, 2016 from 4 – 7 PM at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory in Clintonville.
